Rolly Romero, Devin Haney, Teofimo Lopez all victorious in Times Square
New York’s Times Square, one of the busiest tourist areas in the world, was transformed into an outdoor boxing arena on Friday night for one of the biggest events in the sport’s history.
In the main event, famed pugilist Ryan Garcia made his long-awaited return as he outpointed by Rolly Romero in a welterweight contest. Garcia had not competed since last April when he was suspended one year after his failed drug test overturned a win against Devin Haney.

In the night’s co-main event slot, Devin Haney scored a unanimous decision victory over Jose Ramirez, while Teofimo Lopez defeated Arnold Barboza.
