Erik Perez to fight Josh Hill at Bellator 244 on Aug. 21
Erik Perez will meet Josh Hill in a bantamweight fight at Bellator 244 on Aug. 21 at Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, Conn.
Perez (19-7) announced the fight on his Instagram on Tuesday. According to MMA Junkie, the promotion is in the process of finalizing the bout.

Perez was knocked out in his Bellator debut in December by Toby Misech. That loss snapped a five-fight winning streak for the the former UFC and Strikeforce veteran.
Hill (19-3) is a former WSOR title challenger who won his promotional debut with Bellator in February. In that fight, he defeated Vinicus Zani by unanimous decision and that win puts the Canadian on a three-fight win streak.
Bellator 244 will mark Bellator’s third event back since the global COVID-19 pandemic. A light heavyweight championship fight between Ryan Bader and Vadim Nemkov will headline the card. The event is expected to air on Paramount Network and DAZN.
